Siemens' new range of IP-based video surveillance cameras, belonging to its CCTV HD portfolio, offers a hybrid solution for greater compatibility with other systems and the Onvif protocol 2.

Siemens IP camera

With fixed models, Domes, minidomos and vandalism, Siemens has updated its range of HD-to-IP CCTV cameras to offer a hybrid solution in security applications, compatible with Onvif open network protocol 2 and third-party systems.

Siemens IP cameraThis new ip-based range of day/night color offers greater dynamic day/night spectrum (Wdr) for conditions with sudden light changes, faster PTZ control and standard H.264 video compression selection, MJPEG and MPEG4. All models have analog BNC video output and IP network connection to maintain customer investment in security systems.

With a wide variety of zoom (18X, 28x and 36x) in the case of high-speed dome, fixed and vandal-free minidome models integrate varifocal lenses, as standard C/CS mount.

A motion detection algorithm raises events, transmitted over the network to compatible devices, like the Vectis range of hybrid video recorders (HVR) Siemens.
