A pilot experience carried out at London Airport by HRS demonstrates how identity management can provide a better experience for passengers to move around the premises without hassle or delay.

HRS at Gatwick

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has successfully piloted a biometric application to generate an innovative travel experience for passengers at Gatwick Airport (London).

The goal of this experimental simulation is for each passenger to be able to personalize their trip at the airport, demonstrating that the latest technology can offer a pioneering vision of how the airports of tomorrow could truly tailor their end-to-end service offering towards passengers.

The experience was based on the development of a mobile application for Gatwick Airport. This application is capable of generating information in real time and guiding the passenger throughout the airport.

The passenger experience began when the barriers in the car park biometrically identified the passenger by notifying the central system of their arrival. From there, This solution charts the right and personalized path for each passenger, guiding you to the different points of interest or check-in and boarding areas.

HRS's proposal has demonstrated how identity management can be taken to the next level to provide a better passenger experience while avoiding delays and complications.
