Incorporation of maps

One of the main virtues of Samsung Security Manager (Ssm) it's its intuitive graphical interface, that allows any operator to choose the most suitable display settings for the number of cameras they need to control at once. The various settings can be saved with their own name, that can include several combinations of split screen in format 4:3 Or 16:9 for future use. In addition, you can import building plans and maps that can include icons showing the location of each installed camera. Icons can be programmed to open a window when your alarm goes off, so that the operator can quickly select it and view the live image of the camera closest to the incident, without losing the ability to recover at the same time recorded images or what may have happened before the alarm goes off.

A real-time event viewer provides a log of events that include a preview of each channel, as well as comments entered by the operator. The event log, which can be selected by camera number or event type, can be exported in Excel and PDF format for use as proof if necessary. The SSM's graphical interface also makes it easy to register new devices, while the software performs 'checks of its proper functioning’ and allows automatic updating of any Samsung device on the network.

“The SSM is an excellent example of how Samsung focuses on what's really important to our customers. The SSM, that replaces our previous Net-i Viewer software, incorporates multiple functions, such as the full activity log, normally associated with other commercial video management programs”, added Tim Biddulph.
