Trendnet announced the availability of the new SecurView Pro software for IP camera management. SecurView Pro, which can be used with all TRENDnet models, will gradually be included in ip cameras released to the market. In addition, customers can download the new free software from the company's website. The software stands out for providing support for Windows 7 and Microsoft Server 2008, minimize CPU load and be able to manage up to 32 TRENDnet IP cameras.

SecurView Pro offers numerous camera viewing options, as default modes, custom designs and "full screen". It is also possible to "hide" the side and top and bottom toolbars to increase the field of view. Administrators can "drag and drop" live images to a new location; define camera viewing cycles; and "carry" the moving video to the front of the screen. Users, for his part, can combine "weekly calendars" and motion detection recording; schedule motion detection areas; integrate "alarm triggers"; add the date, the time and some text in the picture; and define the mask overlay to hide sensitive areas.

This software eliminates architectural losses with the ability to record a single video stream in multiple locations at the same time. It also manages files by time of recording or space allocation. Statistics and disk cleanup function help to effectively organize all files. The "search and play" functionality is very advanced. The navigation sequence provides a quick visual reference to recorded content and motion at a specific time.

Users will also save a lot of time if they use the option to search for continuous recordings of motion events, within a defined area of the field of view. The time lapse in playback provides another useful search option. Finally,, Map feature allows you to assign cameras to an image, like the floor plan of an office, or join it to Google Maps.

Sonny Su, Director of Technology at TRENDnet, Said: "It is often thought that the free management software that comes with IP cameras is an overload for the CPU and lacks advanced functions. Our goal when we started designing this software was to set a new standard of performance and functionality. I believe that customers using SecurView Pro will agree that we have achieved the purpose".
