Amper announced that, through your partner in India Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd, wipro Limited has been provided with a critical communications management system for the Mundra port free zone (India), the largest extension of the Indian subcontinent, result of a multi-million rupee contract. The system will integrate the various existing sensors and monitor the safety of maritime and land areas throughout the port. Wipro will carry out the start-up, integration and maintenance of the security and surveillance system.

The project involves the supply of, installation and commissioning of various sensors, surveillance cameras, network elements and video management and analysis software, in addition to Amper's Command and Control solution. This Command and Control solution is a heterogeneous platform that acts as a unique interface for mapping all surveillance cameras along with the integrated communication and mobility system. Mistral will adapt Amper's Command and Control solution to meet the requirements of this project.

Amper's Command and Control Solution is an internationally recognized platform, that works all over the world in more than 200 installed systems, and is built according to the C4ISR concept (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), that integrates multiple sensors with communication networks and signals response protocols to follow in emergencies. The control and control network thus constituted collects inputs from the various sensors installed at strategic points throughout the port, puts them in a cartographic representation of the area and allows communication between emergency response units. The graphical user interface is easy to use, so the system can be used by surveillance personnel with minimal training.

Esther Garcés, Europe's market manager, Amper's Asia and Africa, has declared: “We are very pleased with our participation in this project for Asia's largest private port. Our leadership in public and private security solutions allows us to access markets with high potential around the world that has been fostered by the Government of India. We are ready to help improve citizen security with next-generation solutions, who are leaders in their technology sector and the result of our commitment to high value-added engineering and innovation".
