Sony will expose its latest video surveillance news in Security Essen 2012. The company will demonstrate how its products enable customers to integrate new and existing technologies through Hybrid and IPELA solutions.. The adoption of IP technology is growing rapidly thanks to the recognition of its many advantages by government companies and institutions, that are considering migrating from their current analogue system to an IP-based video surveillance system.

There are currently several ways to migrate from analogue systems to IP technology, but most of them include hybrid encoders and recorders that only allow you to move from standard definition analogue installations (Sd) to IP systems exclusively based on the SD format. To meet market demand, Sony offers IPELA Hybrid camera, that can migrate from analog SD systems to IP-based HD systems and that can be seen in action in Security Essen 2012.

Ryan Kawashima, Head of Strategic Marketing at Sony Europe talks about this solution: "Security Essen 2012 comes at an interesting time of change. The analog CCTV camera market has already peaked due to increased price competition from network cameras and their ability to deliver impressive levels of clarity and visibility., as well as providing real-time surveillance in multiple locations. Sony migration solutions provide a cost-effective and flexible path to modernization for organizations that want to switch from an analog to HD system. We want to make it easier for our customers to transition to HD as much as possible and, at the same time, help them determine which parts of the installation should remain and which should be replaced in the process.".

Sony is also introducing unprecedented improvements in image quality.. IPELA Engine technology (TM) has been integrated into a new generation of products that provide 60 frames per second (FPS) to Full HD resolution (1080Q). This has defined a new technological standard for the development of security in sectors such as casinos., traffic control and urban surveillance.

Sony will present new products equipped with IPELA Engine technology (TM) in Security Essen 2012 and will perform all the demonstrations at your stand (number 509), located in the Hall 2.
