Dallmeier, manufacturer of professional videosecurity technology and network-based IP video surveillance systems, has added DMS server hardware to its catalog 2400, integrated with Smavia software, and that incorporates the ability to manage up to 24 HD video channels.

blankDallmeier has released DMS standalone server hardware 2400, a high-performance VideoIP device with the ability to process up to 24 HD video channels. Along with specific and preloaded software Smavia Recording Server is the best cascading IP security solution for retail stores, service stations or company facilities.

The DMS 2400 is high-performance server hardware with Multi-Core CPU and 2x technology 3,5 ” Hdds. The operating system of the 3HU device is in flash memory for greater system stability. The DMS 2400 is suitable for a maximum of 24 SD-IP or HD-IP video channels. Optionally, an update is available for hybrid use with up to 24 analogue channels.

The DMS 2400 is a standalone device and can be installed in a 19-rack″ with a support of 19″ Optional. Supports local playback of a camera (Analog, SD-IP or HD-IP), as well as with the live local image of analog cameras, SD-IP and HD-IP in multiple division.

Sophisticated hardware and perfectly coordinated components enable high recording speed. Due to the functionality “EasyChange”, hard drives can be easily and conveniently changed from the front of the device in the event of a hard drive failure.

Preloaded Smavia Recording Server software supports standard resolutions, as well as Full-HD (up to 1080p) and even 8 Megapixel. RTSP and ONVIF compatible cameras can be set up and recorded with Smavia. Connecting to an Active Directory user administration is possible through the LDAP protocol. Evaluation of live and recorded images can be done with the Smavia Viewing Client (an access license, the call “basic license”, is already included) o con SeMSy a través de Ethernet (Lan / Wan). PRemote-HD, a special method developed by Dallmeier that allows the transmission of HDTV signals to low bandwidths, is supported in real time.
